The 2010 Royal Oak Youth Football Team Registration will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 23 & 9:00am-Noon on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Registration will take place at the Royal Oak Senior Center, located at 3500 Marais (North off 13 Mile East of Crooks). We are part of the Oakland Macomb Youth Football Association (OMYFA) which consists of Flag, Freshman, JV and Varsity Youth Football and Cheerleading squads. The Royal Oak Nature Society is hosting the "Late Spring Nature Walk" being held in Tenhave Woods on Wednesday, June 16th, at 7:00 pm. Park at the Lexington/Marais lot & meet at the Lexington entrance. Join us and see what is happening in the woods during the late spring and beginning of summer. The Royal Oak Senior Community Center is have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, June 18. Dinner will be served from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The Royal Oak Senior Community Center is having a "Used Purse Sale" on Tuesday, June 15 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. A wide collection of gently used purses, totes and wallets will be sold for reasonable prices (some name brands). Proceeds will go to help support Senior activities and programs. Help plant annual flowers from 8:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, in the butterfly garden on the southeast side of the library. The Royal Oak Qualifier for the Optimist Junior Golf Championship is Saturday May 22nd, 2010 Rain or Shine at Royal Oak Golf Club. The "Crescendo" Ice Show will perform at the John Lindell Ice Arena on May 6, 7, and 8th. The show start at 7pm each night, with an additional show on Saturday at 1pm. The Royal Oak Farmers Market will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser for the Police Honor Guard on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 5-9pm.
