Mammals of Tenhave Woods nature walk is being held at on Sunday, December 8, 2013 beginning at 2:00 pm. Park at the Lexington/Marais lot and meet at the Lexington entrance. Come and learn about the mammals that live in Tenhave Woods. We will look for signs of these mammals and have skulls and skins with us to help describe them and how they live. Celebrate America Recycles Day by taking a free tour during the week of November 12 – 15, 2013. SOCRRA is celebrating America Recycles Day by offering free tours of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Tours last about 30 minutes and consist of recycling displays in the Education Center and a walk through the MRF to see how recyclables are sorted and baled.

Paint Party Royal Oak is celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a Paint Party benefit for HAVEN. This event is Wednesday, October 23rd from 6:30pm-9:30pm. The fee is $40 per person with $20 of admission going directly to support HAVEN. Seats are limited to 25 so register early. Doors open at 6:30pm for social time with painting starting by 7:00pm.
