City Adopts Strategic Plan
The City conducted strategic planning sessions on Friday, January 22, and Saturday, January 23, 2010. Top City officials and key department heads developed a strategic plan of action and the framework to evaluate the progress and success of the plan.
The approach and focus of the sessions was to review, update and endorse a clearly defined mission and vision statement, and to establish goals and objectives for the following six core areas:
- Fiscal Responsibility
- Public Safety
- Communication
- Community
- Infrastructure
- Economic / Tax Base
