Mid Summer Nature Walk

A “Mid Summer Nature Walk” is being held at Tenhave Woods on Wednesday, August 18^th, 2010, at 7:00 pm. Join us and look at the summer woodland and ferns. Later on at 9:00 pm, we will be doing “Nighttime Insect” and “Bat” programs. Naturalists, Bob Muller & Jimmy Kipps, will be setting up white sheets & Coleman lanterns to catch insects. Also at 9:00 pm, Amanda Felk from the Cranbrook Bat Zone, will bring an echo-locator to see if there is any bat activity in the park. For all of these programs, park at the Lexington/Marais lot & meet at the Lexington entrance. Visit the Nature Society online for additional information.
