Youth Assistance Bowl-A-Thon

Event - Date & Time:
Sunday, February 26, 2012 - 12:00pm - 4:00pm

On Sunday, February 26 is the 30th Annual Royal Oak Youth Assistance Bowl-A-Thon from noon to 4pm at Thunderbird Lanes in Troy. This fundraising event provides funding for a variety of programs including skill building and summer camp scholarships, Mentors PLUS, Family Education and Youth recognition day. We need your support and are currently looking for lane sponsors, prize donations, and bowling teams. For more information about the Bowl-A-Thon, contact Royal Oak Youth Assistance at 248-546-8282 or go online to bowlathon.net and sign up for the Royal Oak Youth Assistance event!

Any business or community group can become a lane sponsor. For $100 donation, each business or community group will have its name prominently displayed on a sign over one lane. Corporate donations are encouraged as well. All corporate sponsors will have their names placed on all large banners and all flyers at the Bowl-A-Thon. There are four levels of corporate sponsorship:

  • Bronze, $250 to $500
  • Silver, $501 to $750
  • Gold, $751 to 1,000
  • Platinum, $1,001 +

In addition to sponsorships, Youth Assistance is looking for prize donations that will be given to participants at the event. We are also looking for teams of bowlers. Each team is made up of four to five members who solicit pledges based on the number of pins they knock down.

This is the ONLY fundraiser conducted by Youth Assistance. Money raised from the Bowl-A-Thon will support numerous prevention based programs such as Skill Building/Recreation, Family Education, and Youth Recognition.

Royal Oak Youth Assistance believes that by strengthening families in our community it is possible to prevent children and their families from having to become part of the large and formal court system. It is through citizen involvement that our programs come to life.
