Information:

According to Michael Conway, public affairs director at Metro Airport, arriving flight patterns are sometimes temporarily adjusted due to airport construction and maintenance on the airport's parallel runways, and occassionaly because of weather. Such adjustments could temporarily affect the direction, angle, and height of incoming flights. He stated that no permanent changes have been made to arriving or departing flight patterns recently. He suggested that anyone with questions or concearns regarding noise from incoming flights contact the airport's noise program manager, Scott Roberts, at (734) 753-2205.

The City has contacted the FAA office in Lansing, however, their office deals with flight plans, weather reports, etc., and not the operations at the airport. 2-19-2007
